Why An Electric Car

This page is to list the pros and cons that electric vehicles bring. Originally I was going to cover pros and cons for all types but I think it’s best to focus on the all electric vehicles like Tesla vehicles. The main focus of this page is to dispel any myths that people have for electric cars. Some examples of this are:

• Range
• Charge Time
• Batteries are more prone to fire

While those are valid concerns, electric cars have come a long way. Those items are important but electric cars are continuously evolving such that it’s becoming less of an issue.

Also with electric cars, you have to think differently when it comes to “filling up the tank” a car. With gasoline cars, you typically drop by the gas station when your car is near empty on gas. With electric cars, it’s best to charge your car overnight (like a smartphone). Thus everyday your car is ready to go with a full tank.
